The Garrahan Foundation entered the Guinness Book of Records on Saturday. The foundation collected 36,407,120 plastic bottle tops weighing 91 tons. The bottle tops came from every corner of Argentina by the truck load some of them traveling for 3 days to get to the event.
Cuerda along with the help of Simon Dimotta were challenged with the huge job of receiving, weighing and then transporting the bottle tops with a crane into a volley ball court in the Club de Gimnasia (GEBA), within an 8 hour time limit.

The Bottle tops will be recycled and the money raised will go towards a transportable blood transfusion unit.
